After teasing the reveal of Gogeta earlier this month, Bandai Namco and developer Dimps have officially announced that the fan-favorite character would be coming to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.

Coming straight from the Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie, the black-haired version of Gogeta will be making his way to the world of Xenoverse 2 when the game’s Legendary DLC Pack 2 launches later this year. Much like his film self, Gogeta will have lightning-fast kick combos, and can also turn Super Saiyan as well. Gogeta’s Ultimate Attack will be Meteor Explosion, while his Awoken Skill is Super Saiyan, and his Super Attack is Comet Strike.
Alongside Gogeta, Bandai Namco has also detailed what to expect in the upcoming Legendary DLC Pack 2, which includes a brand new raid quest, a multiplayer mode that allows players to team up with friends and take part in different fights. New figures in the Hero Colosseum are also coming, including Gogeta (DB Super), Jiren (Full Power), and Fu. Finally, new frames and stamps for the game’s Photo Mode are on the way, while “Bergamo’s Attire” will be added to the game’s wardrobe for your avatar.
Despite launching back in 2016, support for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is still going strong. Bandai Namco has made it a point to continue updating the game even though two other, major Dragon Ball-based video games have been released in that five-year time span, with the potential for future updates also on the table.
