Universal Studios Home Entertainment sold an impressive 3 million DVDs of Meet the Fockers on Tuesday. “Fockers” also set an internal record for Universal, selling more units on its release day than any other comedy. Previously, that honor went to Bruce Almighty.
As for weekly data for DVD sales, two releases from 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment were on top of the Nielsen VideoScan charts for the week ending April 9: Sideways at No. 1 and Elektra at No. 2. The Disney/Pixar’s The Incredibles landed in third.
