Warner Home Video’s Million Dollar Baby, directed by Clint Eastwood, topped both the sales and rental charts the week ending July 17, says The Hollywood Reporter.
On Nielsen VideoScan’s First Alert chart, the winner of four Oscars scored an easy victory, outselling its nearest competitor, Buena Vista’s The Pacifier, by a margin of nearly 5-1.
“Pacifier” held steady at No. 2, however, while last week’s No. 1, Fox’s Hide and Seek, slipped to No. 3.
On Home Media Retailing’s rental chart, “Baby” generated an estimated $15.4 million in rental revenue.
