After a few months, Kroupa met Cari Farver, and the two instantly hit off. They met often until November 13, 2012, when Farver disappeared into thin air. Even though nobody had seen her in a long time, she kept sending Kroupa and his family threatening texts. Furthermore, she even sent texts to her mother, Nancy Raney.
Two and a half years after Farver’s disappearance, investigators shockingly discovered that she had been dead since 2012. Liz Golyar abducted and killed her and was posing as the victim digitally. According to Distractify, Liz Golyar is currently serving life imprisonment without the possibility of parole at the Nebraska Correctional Facility for Women.
