This entire scenario took off when the bride, Nicola Peltz’s father, Nelson Peltz filed a lawsuit against Plan Design Events (PDE). According to Fox News, the documentary will narrate this story from both sides of the coin. The first side will be told from the Peltz family’s perspective as Nelson Peltz sued PDE for a $159,000 deposit he made. Just nine days after hiring them, he fired the wedding planners and demanded Plan Design Events return the deposit. However, PDE refused to do so.
The second side will be narrated from the perspective of Nicole Eichenwald Braghin and Arianna Grijalba (owners of PDE). This pair counter-sued the Peltz family by stating that their nine days of work required compensation. This is the reason, they did not return the $159,000.

According to US Weekly, Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham began dating in October 2019. In January 2020, they made their relationship official on social media. Furthermore, less than a year into being together, they got engaged.
According to PEOPLE, in a recent interview with Cosmopolitan UK, Nicola revealed that when the couple was dating, her husband stated several times that he intended to be with her and marry her.
“We started dating three years ago last October. He would tell me all the time, ‘I want to be with you,’ or ‘I want to marry you.'”
She added that she and Brooklyn managed to make time for each other, which led to the growth of their relationship.
“We spend every night together. Sometimes my friends will come sleep over and we’ll all fall asleep on the couch, or they’ll stay in my bed and Brooklyn will go sleep in the other room. Even with work travel, we work around it. Like, he had to do one day on-set in LA last year when we were in New York, but he never slept there…I was like, ‘You can go have a night at the apartment.’ And he said no. So he woke up at, I don’t know, 2am to get a very, very early flight and then flew right back after.”
