Scheduled to be released on December 3, 2023, Netflix upcoming documentary, Sly, will show the life and struggles of the celebrated Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone. The actor is best known for his wide range of action and adventure films. Since he seems proficient with military tactics and knowledge, fans often tend to assume that he served in the military.
According to Essentially Sports, despite his talents, Sylvester Stallone has never served in the military. However, in 1969, when he was a student, he was eligible for the draft. Unfortunately, due to partial paralysis in his face, officials had to remove him from the draft. But this did not break his willpower as he ended up having an illustrious career in acting. So far, Stallone has been known for portraying a military man in the Rambo and The Expendables franchises.

In Sly’s trailer, Stallone talks about his struggles and his success after a number of hardships. He says, “What is healthier, to live under the illusion and still have a little glimmer of hope that you could have been great. or blow it, and be like, ‘You’re a failure?’ I think the easier route is to live under the illusion. The rejection was my encouragement.”
Sly will be released on Friday, December 3, 2023, on Netflix.
