The upcoming C-drama Tender Light is all set to premiere on April 27, 2024. It features Zhang Xincheng and Tong Yao in the lead roles. The drama tells the story of Zhou Luo (Zhang Xincheng), who takes a gap year from the university and returns to his hometown. He is a brilliant student who has been accepted into a prestigious university. Hence, his sudden hiatus arouses curiosity among the members of the community.
On the other hand, Nan Ya (Tong Yao), a clothing store owner, is suffering in an unhappy marriage. To top it off, her husband, Xu Yi, is abusive, and she has to singlehandedly care for her sick daughter. Nan Ya is a beautiful woman who travels every day between her home and the clothing store she owns. Zhou Lou notices that Nan Ya doesn’t have a good reputation in the town.

Other than the lead actors, Tender Light will also feature Xing Yun Jia, Chen Yu Tong, Ye Zu Xin, Wang Zi Xian, Zhao Hao Hong, Tu Zhi Ying, Tian Xiao Jie, Huang Lu, Dean Liu, Liu Heng Fu, Wang Pei Lu, Zhao Huan Yu, Song Shuai, Sun Da Chuan, Liu Yan, and Wang Qing in pivotal roles. Yao Xiao Feng is the director of the drama. It is an adaptation of the novel “Xiao Nan Feng” by Jiu Yue Xi.
Tender Light will release a total of 28 episodes, which will be available to stream throughout the week on Youku.
