Romantic C-drama Everyone Loves Me, starring Lin Yi and Zhou Ye in the main roles, released its final episode on March 16, 2024. The finale focuses on Qian Ling (Zhou Ye) and Gu Xun (Lin Yi) celebrating a milestone together.
Gu Xun is about to close an important deal with an entertainment agency. He has worked day and night developing the triple-A game. The game was his father’s dream project. Just when Mr. Wang, the company’s CEO is about to sign the agreement, Qian Ling enters the meeting room. She exposes him for being a corrupt businessman who has engaged in a series of illegal activities. She successfully saves the company’s as well as Gu Xun’s face.
The episode also shows Jiang Jun Nan (Jiang Yi Ming) finally confessing to Cheng Xing Yi (Melody Tang). Jun Nan apologizes for his past behavior and asks her out. When Xing Yi refuses, he asks her to date him for three months and see how it goes.
Qiang Ling gets ready to visit her parents for the New Year. Gu Xun drives her to the station. He wants to go with her but Qian Ling thinks it’s still early for them to meet each other’s parents.

Gu Xun has bought gifts for Qian Ling and her parents. He is upset about not being able to go with her. Qian Ling promises to break the news to her parents and then take Gu Xun to visit them next year.
Gu Xun gives her a surprise visit to her parents’ house. Qian Ling’s mother is very fond of him. Qian Ling’s father, Mr. Yue, on the other hand, gives him a hard time. He asks Gu Xun a series of questions to test how serious he is about Qian Ling. Gu Xun makes breakfast for the whole family and helps Qian Ling’s parents with chores around the household. Gu Xun’s honesty wins Mr. Yue over and he eventually warms up to him.
The next scene takes viewers a year later. Gu Xun and Qian Ling are seen preparing for some big event. They prepare invitation cards and gift boxes to send out to their guests. The event is them celebrating with their co-workers the game selling over 10 million copies.
On the final episode of Everyone Loves Me, Gu Xun thanks his teammates for being his biggest support system. He prepared individual speeches to dedicate to each of his colleagues. Without their sheer support and dedication, he wouldn’t have been able to complete his childhood dream. Lastly, he thanks Qian Ling for believing in him and always being there for him.
Qian Ling joins Gu Xun in his office to spend some alone time. The series has its happy ending as the couple watches the city from the office window.
Everyone Loves Me tells the story of Gu Xun, who falls in love with Qian Ling. Ironically, he had rejected Qian Ling previously and later makes desperate efforts to win her back.
The series released a total of 24 episodes, which are available for streaming on Youku.
