Ongoing C-drama Burning Flames has released a trailer teasing the fantastic story of Wu Geng (Ren Jialun) and his companions. The drama features Ren Jialun, Xing Fei, Zhu Xu Dan, Yan Yi Kuan, Zhu Zheng Ting, and Merxat in leading roles.
The drama tells the story of Wu Geng, a prince stripped of his power and turned into a slave. He then goes through a series of tests and trials to train himself. Will he be able to alter his fate and rise back to power?

The trailer shows Wu Geng as a human prince who wishes to seek revenge after evil forces destroy his country. He follows his mentor, Fu Xi, to the village of Shen Yin to train himself. He goes through hardships to prove himself worthy. Meanwhile, he meets a group of people who have remarkable supernatural powers.
Furthermore, they form an allegiance to protect the world from dark entities who lurk around every corner. While one can turn himself into a beast, someone can become a phoenix, and others possess equally fascinating powers. Wu Geng wishes to abolish the well-established system of slavery.

Burning Flames is an adaptation of the manhua “Wu Geng Ji” by Zheng Jian He and Deng Zhi Hui. It is a Xuanhuan drama directed by Steve Cheng and Liu Chong Chong.
The drama features Gu Zi Cheng, Guo Xiao Tian, Huang Can Can, Liu Xiang Jing, Liu Xie Ning, Long Zheng Xuang, Pang Han Chen, Qi Yan Di, and others in pivotal roles.
