The ongoing modern C-drama Angels Fall Sometimes has released episode four on March 10, 2024. The drama features popular actors Lin Yi and Landy Li in the leading roles. It tells the story of Lin Tuo (Lin Yi) and An Zhi Que (Landy Li), who fall in love while doing an internship together. However, just when they start dating and working hard towards a better future, Lin Tuo is diagnosed with a disease that affects his day-to-day activities.
In episode 4 of Angels Fall Sometimes, Lin Tuo’s brother, Lin Ye (Chen Ze), upsets his parents by getting low academic scores. After his father scolds him harshly, he runs away from home and goes to his brother in Chongqing. The next day, Lin Tuo picks him up from the station and calls his mother to let her know. His mother starts to worry, but Lin Tuo assures her that he will take care of Lin Ye and report her occasionally.
Angels Fall Sometimes Ep 4: Landy Li forms a bond with Lin Yi’s brother
When Lin Tuo’s father hears the news, he gets extremely angry. Meanwhile, Lin Tuo pursues his brother to talk things over. He politely asks him to at least decide on a university. But his brother is not ready to listen and stubbornly says he wants to study music. He asks Lin Ye to think logically, as their father will never let him attend an art academy.
Lin Ye is persistent about taking the entrance examination for Polaris Art Academy. Lin Tuo tries to tell him about the uncertainties and hardships of life. He is shocked to see no remorse on his brother’s face. The tensity of the situation makes him irritated.
In episode 4 of Angels Fall Sometimes, Zhi Que picks up Lin Ye from outside of his examination center. Her approach to his tantrums completely differs from that of Lin Tuo’s. She takes him to the restaurant where she works part-time and forces him to be her assistant. While chitchatting, she slowly builds up a bond with him. She takes time out to send important notes to him and even helps him study.
The Lin brothers visit their parents together. Their father scolds Lin Ye for running away from home. He tells him that all high school students endure stress and his situation is nothing special. Lin Ye rebels and tells his father how he is making him turn into a robot. Mr. Lin also scolds Lin Tuo, saying that he set a bad example for his brother. He asks him to bear his own expenses and not bother his father for money. His words hurt Lin Tuo, but he remains quiet.
Lin Tuo tells his mother how their constant pressure has changed Lin Ye’s personality. He requests her to cut him some slack. But he is hurt to see that even his mother is not ready to listen to him.
