Modern C-drama Angels Fall Sometimes has released yet another trailer teasing the upcoming show. The drama will premiere on March 9, 2024. It features prominent actors Lin Yi and Landy Li in the leading roles. The drama tells the story of Lin Tuo (Lin Yi) and An Zhi Que (Landy Li), who fall for each other during a summer internship. As their graduation approaches, they step into the adult world. They work multiple jobs to support each other and save up for their promising future. Everything seems to be going smoothly until Lin Tuo is diagnosed with ALS, a neurological disease that impacts his physical abilities.

The newly released trailer shows Lin Tuo lying in a hospital bed. The disease debilitates him to the core. Even simple day-to-day activities like grabbing something or holding a pen seem difficult for him. Zhi Que tries to put on a brave face for his sake, but she breaks down when she sees he is in pain. Lin Tuo, who once loved playing soccer, now has trouble standing up independently.
There are moments of misunderstanding between him and the people around him. Even though he wishes to distance himself from his loved ones, they are always there for him. A Zhi Que, Lin Tuo’s parents and friends lend him a supporting shoulder in this challenging time. The trailer even shows glimpses of the couple’s marriage ceremony.
Other than the lead actors, the drama also features Sun Tian Yu, Li Xin Ran, Chen Ze, Wang You Jun, Xia Ming Hao etc. in pivotal roles.
Angels Fall Sometimes will release 25 episodes, which will air all seven days of the week. The episodes will be available to stream on iQIYI, Tencent Video, and We TV.
