Guilty Gear Strive Anime Revealed, Based on Fighting Game Series

Arc System Works and Sanzigen Studios have unveiled a Guilty Gear Strive anime based on the iconic fighting game series.

The new series, called Guilty Gear Strive: Dual Risers, will be produced by Sanzigen Studios, who also produced the “Find Your One Way” music video for Guilty Gear Strive’s in-game protagonist Sol Badguy.

Other studios attached to the project include Guilty Gear writer Norimitsu Kaihō, and Seiji Mizushima (Fullmetal Alchemist) as an associate producer.

What do we know about the Guilty Gear anime?

As of now, the anime has little known plot or cast details. However, the series will be shown off at the upcoming Anime Expo 2024, which will take place from July 4-7, 2024, in Los Angeles, California.

At the convention, fans will get a first look at the trailer for the series, as well as some other behind-the-scenes news during Arc System Works’ Guilty Gear Strive: Dual Rulers – Special Event panel that takes place on July 4.

The Guilty Gear series is one of the most legendary fighting game franchises in the world of video games. Beginning in 1998, the series quickly became one of the most-played fighting games, and has been a staple at fighting game tournaments like EVO.
