Wind Breaker episode 10 recap
The latest episode starts with Umemiya telling everyone to leave and asking Togame for a place to get takeout. They end up having an afterparty on the roof, and Sakura is shocked at the thought of celebrating with people they just fought. Togame and Choji then apologize to all of them, but Umemiya leaves the decision to forgive them in Sakura’s hands.
Sakura forgives them but asks Togame to be a cool guy from now on. Umemiya tells Choji that he didn’t become the top dog because the people who supported him made him the top dog. Sakura is shocked by this statement and remembers Kotoha’s statement that he couldn’t do it alone. They say their goodbyes to Sakura and Togame and return to their turf.
Meanwhile, Sasaki awaits their arrival outside Kotoha’s bar and goes to greet them as they return. Sakura tries to leave the cafe but is stopped by Umemiya, who wants to talk to him. Umemiya expresses his joy at him being a good guy and is happy he could speak with Togame. Sakura tells him that he came to Furin to be the top dog, and he couldn’t do that as he had never accepted anyone.
However, he is interrupted by Nirei, who reminds him of how he helped him previously. Umemiya tells him it’s possible to reach the top if he dares to face people. The episode ends with Sugishita raging at the thought of Umemiya no longer being the top dog.
