Date A Live V Episode 4: Recap
The fourth episode of Date A Live V showed flashback sequences featuring Shido and Mio Takamiya. He stumbles upon a girl during a spacequake. He decides to take her home and care for her. She couldn’t remember her name due to her memory loss. Shido names her Mio.
Shido begins to spend more time with Mio, and they finally plan a date. All this while, Westcott is searching for her. Mana and Haruko help her prepare for their date. Shido and Mio had a great time with each other and were enjoying themselves. However, Westcott ruins their date. He demands the girl, but Shido isn’t going to let her go so quickly.
He gets terribly injured and asks Mio to heal him. Westcott reveals that he kidnapped Mana and offers to exchange her for Mio. However, Shido tries to protect and dies in the process. Mio’s powers go out of control from the trauma, and the episode ends.
