Although Tower of God chapter 622 will be released next week, no spoilers or leaks have been officially made available yet. The previous chapter saw Gustang and the other rankers take action against Enkidu, severing his head and investigating the incident. Despite initially revealing he carried it out on orders from V, he later revealed that Traumerei had permitted him to kill her as he couldn’t carry out the order on his own.
Tower of God chapter 622 will focus on Gustang as he investigates the real mastermind behind Ameuz’s death. With Traumerei now becoming the primary suspect, his investigation could prove to be what drives a wedge between them all.

Tower of God chapter 621 recap: Enkidu’s Confession
The chapter ended with Enkidu on his knees, still in shock over what he had done. Traumerei looked at him, full of rage and disgust over his actions. Meanwhile, Khun arrived and saw Ameuz’s dead body and Enkidu’s knife and attacked him. Enkidu ran away, but Traumerei intercepted him and severed his head.
Despite severing his head, Enkidu was still alive but in suspended animation for the time being. While the rankers tried their best to bring Ameuz back, Luslec took the chance to free himself. As powerful as they were, the rankers had no power over death, as Ameuz’s death was made official. The news sent Yeon bursting into tears at her helplessness for her friend.
Gustang started his investigation and blamed Traumerie for Enkidu’s actions. Traumerei decided to wipe their memories, but he was stopped by Gustang, who used his authority as a history recorder. Traumerei backed down but asked Gustang to carry him along during the investigation.
Elsewhere, Gustang and Traumerie interrogated Enkidu to find out why he attacked Ameuz. The latter claimed that V had ordered him to attack her by getting close to Traumerei. Gustang was skeptical, as the nature of the attack didn’t fit V’s MO.
Traumerei and the rest of the rankers decided to kill Enkidu. However, Gustang was against it, and they opted to seal him in the vine instead of killing him. The chapter then revealed why Gustang chose to seal him. Enkidu confessed that he was controlled by Traumerie to kill Ameuz. As an entity brought to life by the administrator, he didn’t have the right to kill another. Tower of God Chapter 621 ended with Gustang deducing Traumerei as the prime suspect.
