My Hero Academia chapter 419 dropped this weekend. The villain hijacks Tomura Shigaraki’s mind, leaving Deku in a hopeless situation. However, All For One’s revelation marked a major development in the main plot.
One of the most anticipated events was the return of All For One in the story. Moreover, the latest chapter confirmed a prevalent fan theory. Shigaraki’s past was revealed, and the truth disclosed by All For One has brought a significant turning point in the narrative. However, chapter 419 captures an upsetting moment as an injured Deku fails to rescue Shigaraki.
My Hero Academia Chapter 419 spoilers: Deku is an armless child
My Hero Academia chapter 419 begins with All for One criticizing Deku, who appears as an armless child in the dream world. The former blames the protagonist for taking One For All and Yoichi Shigaraki away from him.
This is immediately followed by a terrifying scene of Tenko falling into a dark void. His form slowly deteriorating, All For One scolds Tenko for clinging to life and admonishes him for defying his master’s orders.
All for One then goes on to elaborate on his encounters with Daigoro “Lariat” Banjo and En “Gaen” Tayutai. He had learned that to control One for All, he would need to push past the wielder’s willpower. This motivated All For One to manipulate Kotaro Shimura into having another child. This is because her firstborn was not fit for the plan.
Following this revelation, All For One acknowledged that he stole Tenko’s original quirk. The latter had inherited it from his parents, but it was taken way before it could manifest.
Dr. Kyudai Garaki replicated this fresh quirk, dubbing it “disintegration.” Nonetheless, All For One modified it, stripping away its regenerative capacity. He refined it to retain solely the power of destruction. Thus, Decay was born and eventually passed on to Tenko Shimura. This severely affected Tomura’s psyche as he disappeared, adhering to the villain’s orders
My Hero Academia Chapter 419 ending
The revelation by All For One is succeeded by Deku’s plight, who appears as an armless child. He had been flung into reality from the dream world.
TomurAFO (Tomura’s body with All For One’s mind)remained silent as he perceived a voice within his mind, which he ordered to cease its chatter. Abruptly, he manifested an arm to muzzle himself. Evidently, the psychological turmoil within the dreamscape was manifesting in his physical form.
Deku also noticed that Decay’s quirk and all the hatred Shigaraki harbored within him were gone. He wondered whether he had died inside the dreamscape. Given the harrowing circumstances, Deku was helpless and could not keep up in the fight against the villain. Nevertheless, moments before TomurAFO could land the finishing blow upon Deku, Hanta Sero appeared and wrapped the villain’s arm with his tapes.
Hanta Sero assured Deku that they could save him. Mashirao Ojiro and Rikido Sato also appeared on the battlefield and attacked the villain. The chapter ended with Shota Aizawa’s arrival from a portal and apologizing to Deku for being late.
