The anime Solo Leveling is entering its seventh arc with the upcoming episodes. Audiences will listen to Sung Jinwoo say his iconic phrase! That being said, The Change Quest arc will span over two episodes (i.e., Episodes 11-12). One of the most powerful enemies the protagonist faces early on will be introduced. But what is the Job Change Quest? Before diving into the next episode, here are some prerequisites that audiences need to know.
What is the Job Change Quest in Solo Leveling?
The upcoming episodes will trace through Chapters 38 to 41 of the Solo Leveling manhwa. Episode 11 will start with Jinwoo engaging in the Job Change Quest and undergoing a trial that tests his qualifications for the job. In RPGs, jobs unlock special skills that entail the category. This means Jinwoo is about to get an insane power buff.
Jinwoo completed the requirements for unlocking his abilities further, which activated this dungeon. It had Knights, Magicians, Archers, and Assassins, all of whom were Knight-type Magic Beasts. The dungeon resembled a Medieval Castle.
However, this dungeon was very different from anything he had faced earlier. What made this so unique was:
- Jinwoo can only leave this dungeon once it is completed. However, if he is using a Hearthstone or a Penalty Quest is activated, he can leave the dungeon.
- He can’t access the Player Shop.
- He can’t use Potions.
- Status Healing does not happen when the Player levels up.
In this arc, Jinwoo defeats the infamous Blood-Red Commander Igris. This entire development showed Jinwoo what the shadow sovereign was capable of doing. It also gave him his first shadows, especially Igris.
Jinwoo is going to face a mighty knight. This opponent is far different from any other he has faced before. The knight is way more skilled than our protagonist, and Jinwoo almost dies in the battle. Job Change Arc will focus on a high-paced struggle.
