Going through all the Ash Ketchum’s 25 seasons of Pokemon journey, it is not wrong to say that he has established contact with a total of 48 different types being represented by respective species in some way or other. We will be turning our attention now to the types that were in Ash’s adventures more often than not, getting into details of how famous Pokemon walked by his side.
Fire Pokemons
Seven unforgettable Fire-type Pokemons have helped Ash’s journey with a fiery essence in his fights. One of Ash’s famous companions is a Charizard, which remains a symbol of earlier successes. Charizard, alongside Infernape and Incineroar from the Alola region, demonstrated the vigor and range within this category.
These are Ash’s Fire Pokemon – Talonflame, Charizard, Torkoal, Pignite, Incineroar, Quilava, and Infernape.
Fighting Pokemons
Ash has eight gallant Fighting-type Pokemons, and each one has contributed its own prowess and moxie to the battles. Water Pokemons
Ash conquered various obstacles with ten Water-type Pokemons, demonstrating this type’s influence in forming a complete team. With its Legendary sunglasses, Squirtle became one of the favorites among fans, and Water-type starter Pokemon, such as Totodile, Oshawott, and Greninja, gave some depth to this representation. The many Water types emphasize their usefulness in crossing water bodies and fighting fires.
These are Ash’s Water Pokemon – Squirtle, Palpitoad, Kingler, Oshawatt, Lapras, Greninja, Totodile, Corphish, Buizel, and Dracovish.
Flying Pokemons
Interestingly, the list is headed by Flying-type Pokemons, which make up thirteen in Ash’s families and offer transport as well as fierce fighting skills. Flying types like Pidgeot and Noctowl were there to provide aerial support, while Charizard served as one of Ash’s most famous grass brawls.
These are Ash’s Flying Pokemons – Butterfree, Pidgeot, Unfezant, Noctowl, Swellow, Staraptor, Noivern, Gliscor, Dragonite, Talonflame, Charizard, Rowlet, and Hawlucha.
