The official website of Gushing Over Magical Girls anime revealed new visuals, along with the main trailer video for the upcoming premiere. Along with a main visual and a main promotional video, Kadokawa reveals the additional cast that will feature in the anime TV show.
The main cast of the anime includes Fūka Izumi as Utena Hīragi, Kaori Maeda as Haruka Hanabishi, and Misato Fukuen as Venalita. New cast members include Aoi Koga as Kiwi Araga/Leopard, Shiori Sugiura as Korisu Morino/Nero Alice, Mayuko Kazama as Saya Minogami/Magia Azul, and Misaki Ikeda as Tenkawa Kaoruko/Magia Sulfur. The fans seem fairly satisfied with the cast members and with the new key visual.
Gushing Over Magical Girls Anime: What to expect?
Based on the manga by Akihiro Ononaka, the anime has already set some expectations amongst the fans.
J-Novel Club’s description of the manga prepares the fans for what to expect from the plot:
“Hi, I’m Hiiragi Utena. I’m a normal magical-girl-loving middle school girl—or at least I was, but then some talking mascot showed up out of the blue and cast a spell on me! Now’s my chance to join my beloved magical girls as…a villain? Hang on, something’s wrong with my outfit! This can’t be happening!

The brand-new TV anime adaptation is set to air in January 2024. Although the reactions vary, the anime is already raising the otakus’ expectations. Hence, the premiere of the anime will be worth the wait.
The platform for the premiere is not revealed yet, and neither is there any word on the English dubbed version. ComingSoon will post an update as soon as further information about the anime is announced officially.
