Naruto fans can’t get enough attention from the mangaka, Masashi Kishimoto. The man has been shuffling between in and out of retirement since the main storyline of Naruto concluded. As Boruto is entering the second half of the series, work is keeping Kishimoto engaged. However, recently, the artist dropped something as a tribute to the Nine-Tailed Fox.
Masashi Kishimoto’s new Naruto drawing is part of a UNESCO project
The new illustration by Masashi Kishimoto can be seen in the tweet below. Everyone can agree that it is nothing but adorable, featuring the young Naruto with a tiny version of Kurama.
The little fox is the Kyuubi sealed inside Naruto. His orange coat blends in perfectly with Naruto’s orange suit. The young Genin is lovingly cuddling with the Nine-tailed fox sitting on his lap.
The new illustration by Kishimoto has quite a heartfelt backstory. The globally acclaimed Mangaka created this piece of art for publicity for the UNESCO. The World Heritage Foundation collaborated with the Mangaka to assist with fundraising campaigns. As he has joined their team, it implies that Naruto fans might see more art from the creator.
Audiences who still need to catch up with the series can watch all the seasons of Naruto on the streaming platform Crunchyroll. Viz Media manages the publication of the manga for this series in the United States.
The official synopsis reads, “Twelve years ago, the Village Hidden in the Leaves was attacked by a fearsome threat. His goal may be to become the next Hokage, but his true destiny will be much more complicated. The adventure begins now!”
