Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Episode 264 Recap
The class talks about a haunted mirror, part of the Seven Mysteries of the Academy. Himawari suggests they explore the school in the evening and go to the Seven Mysteries locations. They form a map of where to go, and Kawaki wonders why Kae is excited about the event. Shino appears and tells the students they can stay, but they must finish cleaning first. While Himawari and the others go ahead, Kae tells Kawaki that she doesn’t believe in the Seven Mysteries. However, she wants to protect the kids’ beliefs. As a result, she and her butler, Batora, set up fake versions of the Seven Mysteries. She also asks Kawaki to help.
During the mystery involving the Third Hokage, Himawari chases after the statue. Using her byakugan, she notices the statue being carried and doesn’t say anything to the others. Kawaki asks Batora why Kae is so serious about faking the mysteries. Batora says Kae might be reclaiming her lost childhood. After each mystery, the number of students decreases. In the sixth mystery, the mirror, only Himawari, Ehou, and Yuina remain. A floating sheet appears, which Kawaki and Kae mistake for Batora. However, they are surprised to see Batora approach them. Kawaki, Kae, and Batora chase after the ghost. The three check the faculty room and find Shino cleaning after hours. He ends up becoming the seventh mystery since the students saw him covered in glow-in-the-dark paint. Meanwhile, Kawaki thanks Himawari for not revealing their tricks to the other students.
