The opening movie for the upcoming Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade mobile game was released during a special event for the game, showcasing various characters from the hit anime series.

The trailer doesn’t show any gameplay or footage from the upcoming game but instead acts as an opening similar to the one you’d find on an anime. The video features the song “Avant” by Eve, and cuts between various characters from Jujutsu Kaisen.

Alongside the trailer, some cast announcements were also made, with the following voice actors set to voice characters in the game:
- Rina Satou as Saki Rindo
- Kōtarō Nishiyama as Kaito Yūki
- Rikiya Koyama as Kensuke Nagino
Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade is set to launch sometime in 2022 for iOS and Android devices, and will be a free-to-play title with optional in-app purchases. The game will feature Saki and Kaito, two first-year students at the Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School’s Fukuoka branch.

Jujutsu Kaisen premiered in October 2020 with a 24-episode first season, and immediately became a hit amongst fans. A film — Jujutsu Kaisen 0 — was released in Japan on December 24, 2021, and since its release has already become the 64th highest-earning film in Japanese box office history.
The anime is based on the manga title of the same name. Both the manga and anime have found widespread success in Japan, with the manga having sold over 55 million copies.
