Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest Anime Adaptation Announced

The hit manga Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest is getting an official anime adaptation.

The announcement was initially made during the Hiro Mashima Fan Meeting livestream event, and will be part of the Fairy Tail 15th-anniversary celebrations. The Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest manga series began in 2018 and currently has nine volumes out in Japan.

Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest will be written and storyboarded by Hiro Mashima, and will directly follow the events of the original Fairy Tail manga, which saw Natsu and their gang embark on the “100 Years Quest,” a dangerous job that not many people have ever dared to accomplish.

Currently, no release information on the upcoming anime series was announced, but it seems likely that when the series does launch, it will be available on Funimation for fans to check out, as all three Fairy Tail anime series, along with its two original anime films, are on the streaming service.
