Uncaged: Image Takes New Werewolf Film

RLJ/Image, who just distributed Joe Dante’s Burying the Ex and has the upcoming Dark was the Night and Some Kind of Hate has taken Daniel Robbins’ werewolf film Uncaged for U.S. release. 

“We’re excited to work with a young filmmaker whose vision effectively translates to the big screen,” said Mark Ward, RLJ Entertainment’s Chief Acquisitions Officer.  “Uncaged takes audiences through uncanny twists and turns, leaving moviegoers thrilled and frightened at the same time.”

Uncaged tells that story a young college student who attempts to discover the cause of his sleepwalking, only to uncover a terrifying secret. Ben Getz and The Sacrament‘s Gene Jones star. 

Uncaged was produced by Yoni Frager, Mark Rapaport, Daniel Robbins and Adam Werth.  BoulderLight Pictures’ J.D. Lifshitz and Raphael Margules served as executive producers. Lifshitz and Margules also negotiated the deal on behalf of the filmmakers with Mark Ward for RLJ Entertainment.
