Bérénice Marlohe will lead Dennis Bartok’s directorial debut, the hospital-bound horror, P.O.V.
In P.O.V., Marlohe (Skyfall, 5 to 7) will play Dana Milgrom (Marlohe), “a track coach who, having survived a near-death car accident, finds herself completely paralysed and trapped inside her own body. While recovering she becomes convinced that an evil presence exists inside her hospital room and is intent on killing her. Believing her to be experiencing a mental breakdown, Danas family brush away her concerns. Becoming increasingly terrified, Dana soon realises that she may not be the only target. Unable to leave her bed, she risks losing the ones she cares for most.”
To be directed by Barktok (Trapped Ashes), P.O.V. is written by Bartok and Tom Abrams, and produced by Fantastic Films Brendan McCarthy and John McDonell (producers on Wake Wood, The Hallowand Let Us Prey), as well as Netherlands-based House of Netherhorror. Production on P.O.V. gets underway in Ireland later in 2015.
