Watch the Jason Lives Screening Q&A With the Cast & Crew

Last night, Friday Night Frights at The Cinefamily here in Los Angeles hosted a triple-feature screening of Friday the 13th Part 6: Jason LivesFriday the 13th Part 5: A New Beginning and Friday the 13th Part 4: The Final Chapter (in that order).

Director Tom McLoughlin came on out to intro the film, bringing with him the real coffin from Part 6. He presented the film “in 4D” – which meant during the opening “James Bond”-style opening sequence, Jason Voorhees himself (a fella in a really good costume) walked through the theater spooking audience members (he’d show up throughout the film, too – it wasn’t as distracting as it sounds).

Following the presentation, McLoughlin took to the stage with his cast (and Jason) for a Q&A and one attendee got it all on camera. You can now watch it here.

After, the gang ventured out back to the courtyard for photo ops and to sign autographs then it was time to resume the evening with screenings of Part 5 and Part 4 which went over great (seeing 5 with a crowd is a must). The whole event wrapped up around 1:45am and was a definite success.

Shock Till You Drop is teaming up with the Friday Night Frights team to co-host a screening of The Blob?, with Chuck Russell in attendance, later this month. Tickets are now on sale right here!
