Jason Blum and Mark Duplass (Zero Dark Thirty) are re-teaming for another genre project. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Duplass and Olivia Wilde (pictured, Tron Legacy) are starring in Reawakening which Blum, of Blumhouse Production, will produce with Mosaic. Lionsgate will release the film.
Duplass recently appeared in Mercy, the Stephen King adaptation, for Blum and Blumhouse snatched up Peachfuzz, co-produced by Duplass.
Jeremy Slater and Luke Dawson penned Reawakening which, according to THR, “centers on a research team that discovers a way to bring the dead to life. When the lead doctors daughter dies, she is given the serum, which leads to horrifying results.”
