Lionsgate has set a January 30, 2015 release date for director David Gelb’s horror film Lazarus (formerly known as “Reawakening”), starring Olivia Wilde, Mark Duplass, Donald Glover, Evan Peters and Sarah Bolger. The film is currently on that date by itself.
In the film, when a team of research students mapping the human brain accidentally kills one of their own, they unwittingly unlock a deadly force by reanimating their colleague. Fighting for their own lives, the team must contain their colleague in the lab before she is unleashed on the world.
Written by Luke Dawson and Jeremy Slater, Lazarus is produced by Jason Blum of Blumhouse Productions.
