Vulture reports Eric Stonestreet is returning for American Horror Story: Asylum. The actor was featured in a small guest spot in season one as the victim of a murderer; for season two, the tables are turned and he’s going to play a killer. The site does not offer any more details than that.
Stonestreet’s return rides on the heels of an announcement involving another season one cast member. Not long ago, it was revealed Frances Conroy was coming back as well.
They’ll join Jessica Lange, Joseph Fiennes, James Cromwell, Adam Levine, Zachary Quinto, Chloe Sevigny, Evan Peters, Britne Oldford, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe and Lizzie Brochere. New episodes of the series begin October 17th.
