Another spin on an old classic
Angel Motion Pictures Ltd. is going into production soon on Rob Walker’s film The Lodger starring Klerston Wareing and genre vet Doug Bradley (Hellraiser).
The screenplay is by Katrina Rodriguez and Matt Walker. Here’s an official synopsis: Enough is Enough for Mr. Weeks as the wretched noi5e coming from his neighbors apartment continues to prevent him from a good night sleep, after plucking up the courage after his complaints went unheard he decides to take matter’s into his own hands. But poking his nose into the business of the lodger in number 10 is the worst mistake he could ever make, as a disturbing secret is revealed which could well be the answer to the mysterious disappearances in the great city of London back in the ’70s.
Matt Walker is producing alongside Stuart Brennan, Paul Ashby, Luis Montalvo and Milton Sicard. Filming is going to take place in London and Lincolnshire.
Another take on the “Lodger” tale – first brought to the screen by Alfred Hitchcock – hit DVD earlier this year.
