McLean’s croc swims closer
In spite of its poor box office reception in Australia, Rogue – Greg McLean’s giant croc thriller – is getting a theatrical run in the U.S. after all.
A press release issued by The Weinstein Company states the film is listed for a Spring ’08 bow. Good news for those eager to see McLean’s sophomore effort following 2005’s Wolf Creek. Reviews for Rogue have been incredibly kind. It would have been a shame if it got dumped direct-to-DVD.
Regarding The Road… John Hillcoat’s adaptation of the Cormac McCarthy novel is going to hit in the 4th quarter of this year. That’s a slight shift from the initial planned 2009 release.
