Scarlett Johansson to star in R-rated comedy Move That Body
Scarlett Johansson is in negotiations to star in Sony Pictures’ upcoming raunchy comedy Move That Body, according to TheWrap.
Lucia Aniello and Paul W. Downs’ script for the film landed on the 2015 Black List of Unproduced Screenplays earlier this week with the following logline: “Five friends rent a beach house in Miami for a bachelorette weekend and accidentally kill a male stripper.” The project has also been described as The Hangover meets Weekend at Bernie’s.
Sony Pictures picked up the script this summer. “Broad City’s” Aniello and Downs will produce through their Paulilu banner with Matt Tolmach and Dave Becky. Aniello is attached to direct the movie and Downs will co-star.
Aniello and Downs were already working together with Sony Pictures on the Untitled Female 21 Jump Street spinoff.
Johansson, who is represented by CAA, LBI Entertainment and attorney Kevin Yorn of Morris Yorn, has four films opening in 2016, including Hail, Caesar!, The Jungle Book, Captain America: Civil War, and Sing. She also stars in the 2017 release, Ghost in the Shell.
