Jurassic World: Chaos Theory Season 1 came out on Netflix on May 24, 2024, and viewers want to know how it ends. Chaos Theory takes place several years after Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous, serving as the latter’s sequel. It continues the story of the members of the Nublar Six, as they deal with Brooklynn’s apparent death and a world where humans have to learn to co-exist with dinosaurs. As the series progresses, the Nublar Six realizes that the rest of them are also in the crosshairs of a nefarious smuggling organization.
While the season finale doesn’t necessarily answer all the questions that might have popped up in the fans’ minds while watching the previous episodes, the viewers learn what really happened to Brooklynn.
Here is everything you need to know about what happened and who dies in Jurassic World: Chaos Theory Episode 10.
What happened at the end of Jurassic World: Chaos Theory?
In the season 1 finale, the Nublar Six confronts Dudley Cabrera, Darius’ former boss at the DPW, after learning that he is involved in the illegal dinosaur smuggling trade. Cabrera insists that he sent the Allosaurus only to scare Brooklynn “a little.” He never intended to kill her. Moreover, he seems surprised when Darius mentions the Atrociraptors that came after him and his friends.
As The Nublar Six tries to hide from Cabrera, the mysterious raptor woman shows up. Before she uses her whistle and commands her animals to kill him, Cabrera discovers that he is not in charge of the operation. It is later revealed that a person known simply as “the Broker” is the actual leader of the smuggling ring.
When the woman realizes that the members of the Nublar Six are also there, she orders her animals to attack them. Fortunately, Mateo, a corrupt DWP driver who has a change of heart, shows up right on time and saves them.
As things descend into utter chaos, several dinosaurs, including Big Eatie, break out of their cages. Desperate, Darius releases an Allosaurus, which inadvertently helps the Nublar Six survive the ordeal. Realizing that her raptors are in no condition to keep pursuing Darius and his friends and with the authorities arriving on the scene, the woman leaves.
The smuggling ring ultimately manages to get several dinosaur eggs on board their cargo ship. Darius finally accepts that he wasn’t there for Brookynn when she needed him the most. The gang resolves to find answers about the smuggling ring and boards the ship of their adversaries.
Does Brooklynn die in Jurassic World: Chaos Theory?
No, Brooklyn doesn’t die in Jurassic World: Chaos Theory.
The series begins with the revelation that Brooklynn died in an Allosaurus attack, and that effectively sets up the narrative. However, after Cabrera’s death, Ronnie contacts someone to inform them what happened. In response, she gets the following message, “Good to know, thanks for the heads up.”
It is revealed that the person Ronnie is interacting with is Brooklynn. Although she lost her left arm, Brooklynn is still very much alive. The series doesn’t explain why she hasn’t reached out to her friends, at least not yet, though we see a photo of the entire Nublar Six on the investigation board she has created about the smuggling ring. Despite what happened to her, Brooklyn continues her search for the truth.
