WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has spoken highly of the recent work of former tag team champion Chad Gable. The latter recently turned heel following Sami Zayn’s homecoming match in Montreal, Canada. He shocked the fans by attacking Zayn in front of his family.
Since Chad Gable turned heel, the WWE Universe has given him a lot of heat for his antics. Last week on WWE RAW, Gable took it a step further by deciding to embarrass his faction, Alpha Academy’s Otis, Akira Tozawa, and Maxxine Dupri. It appears that Kurt Angle is very impressed by Chad Gable’s work.
On his podcast, The Kurt Angle Show, he was asked if he would be willing to manage Chad Gable. He stated, “They never considered that [heel manager], at least with Chad. They never decided to do another Team Angle or for me to team up with Alpha Academy. I think that would be a great idea. If I were going to do it, it has to be worth it to me.”
Kurt Angle entertains the idea of becoming Chad Gable’s manager. Fans may also recall that they faced each other in a singles match on RAW in 2019.
Chad Gable sends a message to Sami Zayn on WWE RAW
On the latest edition of WWE RAW, during a backstage segment with Chad Gable interacting with Awesome Truth, he was blindsided and knocked out by Sami Zayn. While Zayn got his revenge on Gable, the show wasn’t over yet.
Zayn, who was scheduled to face Bronson Reed in a match, was attacked by Gable when Zayn was about to secure a win. Following the attack on Zayn, Gable stood tall over him, holding the Intercontinental Championship. However, unhappy with Gable causing him the match, Bronson Reed decided to take matters into his own hands and attacked Gable. It looks like a triple-threat match for the Intercontinental Championship is in the works.
