According to Deadline, Toni Collette (Knives Out), Andy Garcia (Ocean’s Eleven), Alex Pettyfer (I Am Number Four), Eva De Dominici (The Cleaning Lady), Rob Estes (After), Jessica Michel Serfaty (The Ride), and Chiara Iezzi (Mare Fuori) have been cast in an upcoming romantic comedy titled Under the Stars.
Further details about their respective characters remained under wraps, but the film is expected to revolve around a struggling romance novelist, “who’s stuck in a passionless relationship. When he goes to Italy looking for inspiration, he unexpectedly finds the girl of his dreams.” Production on the project is now underway in Italy.

Under the Stars is being directed by Michelle Danner from a screenplay written by Victoria Vinuesa. It is executive produced by Christian Mercuri, Roman Viaris, Leonardo Maria Del Vecchio, Jessica Michel Serfaty, Davide Meretti, Gary Hamilton, Ying Ye, and Gian G. Foschini, with Pia Patatian producing. It is a production by Arclight Films.
