Sivakarthikeyan’s Ayalaan Telugu OTT Release Date Confirmed, Claim Reports

Tamil star Sivakarthikeyan was last seen befriending an alien in the sci-fi drama Ayalaan. The Tamil movie was released ahead of Pongal and entertained the family audience. Despite its flaws, the movie managed to earn a decent amount. While the Telugu dub version was also planned for a theatrical release, it did not happen due to various reasons. So far, the movie’s Telugu version has not made its digital debut, but as per reports, it might happen soon.

Ayalaan follows the story of a lost alien who meets a group of four friends. They must keep their pal from another planet safe from a few hostile scientists. Moreover, they have to help him return to his home planet.

Rakul Preet Singh was the leading lady of the movie who played Sivakarthikeyan’s love interest. The movie also features Sharad Kelkar, Isha Koppikar, Bhanupriya, and Yogi Babu. R. Ravikumar served as the movie’s director, and Oscar-winning AR Rahman composed its music.

When will Ayalaan Telugu version make its digital debut?

Ayalaan’s original Tamil version made its digital debut a month after its theatrical release. The movie arrived on the streaming platform Sun NXT on February 9. Talking about the movie’s Telugu version’s OTT debut, 123telugu.com has claimed that it will take place in a few weeks. The dubbed version is expected to arrive on Sun NXT on April 19. However, an official announcement regarding the same has not been made yet.

Ayalaan competed with Dhanush’s Captain Miller at the box office. Despite the competition, the movie managed to attract a significant number of audience. Now, its makers are focusing on the movie’s sequel. Sivakarthikeyan himself confirmed Ayalaan 2 and assured the audience that the sequel would have fewer mistakes. During an interaction with fans, the actor said, “We know how much you liked the alien, so we will rectify our minor mistakes in the next part and give a better output.”
