Sivakarthikeyan Confirms Ayalaan 2: ‘We Will Rectify Our Minor Mistakes in the Next Part’

The auspicious festival of Pongal saw a number of movies released in Tamil cinemas. One among them was Sivakarthikeyan’s much-awaited sci-fi thriller, Ayalaan. The film opened to mixed reviews as some viewers enjoyed the adventurous ride. However, a few did not find its second half as entertaining as the first one. However, the actor recently confirmed a second part of the movie and made several promises.

R Ravi Kumar helmed the film, while Rakul Preet Singh played the leading lady. The buzz around the movie was massive because it saw several delays in its release. Moreover, Sivakarthikeyan’s fans were excited to watch him in a new role. The film is currently in the theaters, and its Telugu version will be released on January 25, 2024.

Will there be an Ayalaan 2?

Ayalaan has been receiving minor criticism from cinephiles for its CGI work. However, the makers seemingly take it as constructive criticism for its Part 2. As per Pinkvilla, Sivakarthikeyan recently confirmed Ayalaan 2. The actor recently visited a theater and spoke to the audience. During the interaction, he confirmed the sequel and assured them the makers had a great idea behind it. He even mentioned how there won’t be minor mistakes in the upcoming film. He said, “We know how much you liked the alien, so we will rectify our minor mistakes in the next part and give a better output.”

Ayalaan revolves around a lost alien. He meets a group of four friends who try to send him back to his home planet. However, they must also save the alien from a group of hostile scientists. Sharad Kelkar played the lead antagonist in the film.

The movie came out on January 12 and faced massive competition from Dhanush’s Captain Miller. Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi’s thriller Merry Christmas also arrived on the same day.
