“I’ve been a fan of Steve’s since I was a 10-year-old memorizing his comedy albums,” Neville said via People, who exclusively debuted the trailer. “I have always followed his career, but making this film opened up so many more sides of Steve to me.
He added, ”Steve said he wanted to make this film because it was time, and I think that’s true. We were also able to find incredible materials of Steve’s entire career, from standup through the movies, that have never been seen.”
STEVE! (martin) arrives on Apple TV+ on March 29, 2024.
