Here’s all we know about Maid Season 2 and whether or not it’s coming out.
Is there a Maid Season 2 release date?
There is no Maid Season 2 release date, as the show was developed as a miniseries.
As mentioned above, Maid is an adaptation of Stephanie Land’s memoir Maid: Hard Work, Low Pay, and a Mother’s Will to Survive. The series finishes the story it sets out to tell by the end of the first season. In episode ten, Alex gains full custody of Maddy after Sean recognizes his issues with alcoholism and decides to step aside. In the final scenes, Alex and Maddy leave for Missoula, Montana, to restart their lives. So, unless Land publishes a sequel novel, Maid Season 2 is unlikely to happen. ComingSoon will provide an update if the circumstances change.
The cast includes Margaret Qualley as Alexandra “Alex” Russell, Nick Robinson as Sean Boyd, Anika Noni Rose as Regina, Tracy Vilar as Yolanda, Billy Burke as Hank, Andie MacDowell as Paula Langley, Rylea Nevaeh Whittet as Maddy Boyd, Xavier De Guzman as Ethan, Raymond Ablack as Nate, BJ Harrison as Denise, and others.
The official synopsis for Maid reads:
“After fleeing an abusive relationship, a young mother finds a job cleaning houses as she fights to provide for her child and build them a better future.”
