Emma Tammi’s Five Nights at Freddy’s movie is out this week, and ahead of its release, a new poster has been revealed.

The Five Nights at Freddy’s movie tells the story of a troubled security guard as he begins working at the dilapidated Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. During his first night on the job, he realizes the night shift at Freddy’s won’t be as dull as it seems because the animatronics come to life, and are not as warm and friendly as they’re supposed to be.
The movie stars Josh Hutcherson (Ultraman, The Hunger Games), Elizabeth Lail (You, Mack & Rita), Piper Rubio (Holly & Ivy, Unstable), Kat Conner Sterling (We Have A Ghost, 9-1-1), with Mary Stuart Masterson (Blindspot, Fried Green Tomatoes) and Matthew Lillard (Scooby Doo, Scream). Five Nights at Freddy’s is directed by Emma Tammi (The Wind, Blood Moon) and is written by Scott Cawthon, Emma Tammi, and Seth Cuddeback.
Five Nights at Freddy’s made back its budget and more ahead of release due to the sale of its streaming & theatrical distribution rights. With a strong fandom and trailers showing the film might be a decent adaptation, another smash for the most successful horror studio around could be on the cards. Early indications show it’s set to earn more than $40 million in its opening weekend.
Five Nights at Freddy’s will be released in theaters and on Peacock on October 27, 2023.
