The Mission: Impossible 8 release date has received a lengthy delay, pushing the Tom Cruise-led blockbuster all the way back to 2025.
The Hollywood Reporter revealed that the sequel has been pushed back from its premiere date of June 28, 2024 to a new release date that’s nearly a year later — May 23, 2025. The delay comes after the film was hit with production delays as a result of the earlier WGA strike and the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike.
The cast of Dead Reckoning included many familiar faces, such as Tom Cruise, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, and Henry Czerny. New cast members included Hayley Atwell, Esai Morales, Shea Whigham, Pom Klementieff, and Cary Elwes.
What was Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One about?
