Ganapath is all set to hit the theatres on October 20, 2023. Ahead of its release, the makers have released a special new promo that has increased the hype among fans. The main focus of this recent promo, much like the earlier trailer and teasers, is the thrilling action sequences. Renowned Hollywood action stunt director Tim Man choreographed the action sequences in Ganapath. He is known for his work in action-packed films.
The latest promo primarily shows meticulously choreographed action scenes that are designed to keep audiences thoroughly engaged. A standout moment in the promo features Tiger Shroff in a fierce fistfight with his co-star, Kriti Sanon, who also plays his love interest in the film. This intense battle takes place against the stunning backdrop of Ladakh, where most of the film’s action was filmed. Interestingly, the earlier trailer showed a different side of the duo as they were seen dancing to a romantic tune.
Ganapath director speaks about the unique filming locations and more
Talking about the locations where Ganapath had been shot, the film’s director, Vikas Bahl, shared, “While there have been many films that have shot action scenes in Ladakh before, we were fortunate to shoot in a completely new area. We filmed in an abandoned town above Lamayuru, where most of the sequences were shot.”
Vikas also shared how the weather was unfavorable yet the cast pulled through the harsh conditions. He stated, “The weather conditions were challenging and unpredictable, with fluctuations in oxygen levels. But Tiger, Kriti, and Rehman sir put in a lot of hard work, practicing on their days off and in between action scenes, despite the demanding weather conditions and low oxygen levels. Our base was quite far from the actual filming locations, and moving equipment, costumes, props, and more from one terrain to another was no easy task.”
Ganapath is set in a dystopian world in the year 2070. Tiger Shroff’s character is introduced as the “chosen one” and emerges as a savior. It is an action-packed spectacle that also features legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan. The film is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, and Vikas Bahl. The makers have ensured that the movie reaches a wide and diverse audience, which is why it will reportedly be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
