It has been over a year since we’ve last heard an update regarding the long-in-development Kingsman 3, and it looks like the project is still moving forward with director Matthew Vaughn recently sharing some new details about the film.
Speaking with Comic Book, Vaughn has confirmed that production is currently scheduled to start next year in September. He also went on to tease that the third installment to the Taron Egerton-led spy films is expected to wrap up Harry and Eggsy’s story.

Kingsman 3 has been in development since 2018 following the theatrical release of The Golden Circle. Before Taron Egerton’s third Kingsman film, 20th Century Studios will finally be debuting the prequel film The King’s Man in theaters on December 22.
In a previous interview, Vaughn revealed that the upcoming prequel will indeed be setting up the events that will happen in the third chapter. “We’ve put seeds for what’s going to happen in Kingsman 3 all the way back into this,” Vaughn revealed. “And it’s going to be very different.”

The King’s Man is the third installment to Matthew Vaughn’s blockbuster spy film series Kingsman, based on Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons’ comic book titled “The Secret Service.” It stars Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton, Rhys Ifans, Matthew Goode, Tom Hollander, Harris Dickinson, Daniel Brühl, Djimon Hounsou, and Charles Dance.
The prequel is once again directed by Matthew Vaughn from a screenplay he co-wrote with Karl Gajdusek. It is produced by Vaughn, David Reid, and Adam Bohling.
