Less than 24 hours ago news broke that David O. Russell’s upcoming film had cast Margot Robbie (Birds of Prey), and now The Hollywood Reporter has brought word that Michael B. Jordan (Black Panther) has also joined the roster that began with Christian Bale.

Russell will write and direct the project, which teams him with Bale for the third time after the two joined forces on The Fighter (for which Bale won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor) and American Hustle.
As stated before, project details are being kept under wraps, though previous articles mentioned a production start date around April.
Robbie can currently be seen in Birds of Prey, which opened at number one at the worldwide box office with $80 million. Robbie also recently featured in the Academy Award-nominated films Bombshell and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. She also lends her voice talents to the upcoming Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway, and is currently filming The Suicide Squad with director James Gunn.

Jordan becomes the third comic book genre vet to join the cast, having starred in the critically demolished Fantastic Four in 2015 and the massively acclaimed 2018 MCU installment Black Panther as antagonist Killmonger. He can currently be seen in the well-received legal biopic Just Mercy alongside Jamie Foxx (Baby Driver) and will next be seen in the Tom Clancy adaptation Without Remorse, which is set to hit theaters on September 28.
