At WWE SummerSlam, Liv Morgan is set to defend her Women’s World Championship against Rhea Ripley, with Dominik Mysterio at her side. However, a WWE legend believes that Dirty Dom will surprise fans by costing Ripley the match.
The latest edition of WWE Raw saw the Judgment Day‘s clubhouse completely destroyed. Mysterio feigned ignorance about the culprit, while Rhea Ripley accused Liv Morgan. Fans noticed the former’s suspicious behavior with many fans speculating the chances that he is about to cost Ripley the match.
According to Tommy Dreamer, WWE is setting up a scenario where Dominik Mysterio will play a pivotal role at SummerSlam. He believes that Mysterio will ultimately betray Ripley, resulting in her losing the match and the title to Liv Morgan, making for a dramatic twist in the SummerSlam storyline.
Tommy Dreamer: Dominik set everybody up
The Liv Morgan, Rhea Ripley, and Dominik Mysterio storyline is one of the most entertaining feuds heading into SummerSlam. The latest antics unfolded on WWE RAW, where The Judgment Day’s clubhouse was completely destroyed. WWE legend Tommy Dreamer believes that Dirty Dom is behind the destruction of the clubhouse.
Speaking on the Busted Open Radio, Dreamer suggested that Dominik Mysterio is likely responsible for the destruction of the clubhouse. He feels strongly that the situation is part of a larger plot between Mysterio and Morgan.
He stated, “I would go with Dominik ruined the playhouse. Dominik did it all. Dominik set everybody up because he’s hooking up with Liv. I can feel it in my bones, I don’t have any proof, but this is an interesting plot because they walked in on it. There’s no proof, there’s no nothing, everything is destroyed, my gut is telling me that this is all between Dom and Liv, and we’re going to get one of the most shocking/gross kisses we’ve seen on television, or on pay-per-view in a long, long time.”
While this is an interesting theory from the WWE legend. It will be interesting to see what will happen this Saturday at WWE SummerSlam. Stay tuned for more updates.
