Chad Gable, leader of the Alpha Academy, had an interesting backstage encounter on WWE RAW ahead of his huge match this weekend. Gable is set to receive a shot at the WWE Intercontinental Championship at the Prisum Live event. Sami Zayn, the current WWE Intercontinental Champion, is scheduled to defend his title in a triple-threat match against Chad Gable and Bronson Reed.
On the latest edition of WWE RAW, Chad Gable faced Sami Zayn in a singles match. Gable had previously confronted his Alpha Academy teammate Otis for not defeating Sami Zayn in their match.
After Gable’s loss, he slapped Otis, but despite this, he continued to stand by Gable’s side. During Gable’s match with Sami Zayn on WWE RAW, Otis intervened and assisted Gable, leading to the former securing a win.
Following his assistance to Chad Gable in securing a win, Otis went backstage to meet Sami Zayn in his locker room. Otis apologized to Zayn for his actions, while the latter advised him to stop listening to Chad Gable and start listening to the fans sooner, as it would lead to a better outcome for him.
Later in the show, Chad Gable, engaged in conversation with the Creed Brothers, meets Otis, who informs Gable that he apologized to Sami Zayn. This excites Gable as he suspects Otis was playing mind games with Zayn.
Gable then approaches Otis closely, seeking assurance that he will assist him in winning. Although initially hesitant, he eventually agrees. It will be interesting to see if Otis helps Chad Gable in his match this weekend in Saudi Arabia at WWE King and Queen of the Ring.
