Former AEW World Champion Kenny Omega has voiced his opinions on Triple H’s recent booking decisions in WWE. In 2022, Vince McMahon retired amidst a scandal, which resulted in Triple H assuming the role of chief content officer and taking on creative responsibilities at WWE. Since taking over these creative responsibilities, fans have observed changes in the booking strategies.
On his recent Twitch stream, AEW star Kenny Omega discussed his views on Triple H’s approach to booking. He stated, “Everyone seems to know just what he is booking and what he isn’t booking. Even as a wrestler who has kind of like an inside track, I don’t know what his ideas are. I don’t know what’s a result of just what comes from his brain and his brain alone, so I can’t comment to that. What I do appreciate is that he’s open-minded to all the styles of the world of wrestling. I think I’m sure he probably prefers one over the other or some over others, but I like that he’s giving everything a shot.”
Since WWE SummerSlam 2022, Triple H has assumed control of WWE’s creative booking. Fans have noticed significant changes in the storylines and have been praising Triple H’s work, noting the excellent storytelling over the past few years.
Former WWE star Bryan Danielson praises AEW star Kenny Omega
Bryan Danielson, a former WWE star who is now with AEW, has praised AEW star Kenny Omega. Omega, who has been dealing with diverticulitis and has been out of action since December, received acclaim from Danielson.
In a recent interview with Hockey Night, Bryan Danielson was asked about the greatest wrestler from Canada. He stated, “Gosh! I would have to say, this is going to be controversial. Kenny Omega. When you watch him, he’s hurt right now, he’s one of the most fantastic wrestlers you’ll ever see. It’s going to be controversial. I mean I’m a huge Bret Hart fan. But when you watch Kenny Omega… Love Bret Hart, love the Hart Family… but when you look at Kenny Omega, his best stuff is just incredible.”
While Bryan hailed Kenny Omega as the greatest wrestler from Canada, he also expressed his respect for WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart, who is also a Canadian.
