WWE Superstar Tiffany Stratton made her main roster debut a few months ago on WWE SmackDown. Stratton officially signed with the Blue brand back in February. Since joining the main roster, Stratton has been making waves. After the WWE Draft concluded, her future is now with the blue brand.
Tiffany Stratton practised gymnastics for several years before signing with WWE in August 2021. She debuted in WWE on an episode of 205 Live in November 2021, defeating Amari Mille. She quickly transitioned to the WWE NXT brand and captured the NXT Women’s title last year. While fans might now know her as Tiffany Stratton, there were plans to give her another name before her WWE debut.
Speaking on Insights with Chris Van Vliet, Tiffany Stratton discussed the early days of her wrestling career, from joining WWE to how gymnastics helps her today with her wrestling moves. She revealed a surprising detail about her name before joining WWE. She ultimately got the name Tiffany Stratton; the original plan was for her to be named ‘Veronica Swanson’.
It would be interesting to imagine what would have happened if she had received that name. Fans might not have been able to chant “Tiffy Time” as they do now.
Tiffany Stratton prepares for a huge match at WWE Backlash
Tiffany Stratton has officially joined the WWE SmackDown brand and is gearing up for the most significant match of her career this weekend at WWE Backlash in France. A few weeks back, Bayley defended her title against Naomi on an episode of WWE SmackDown. The match went well until Tiffany Stratton interfered, causing Bayley to retain her title.
This interference prompted SmackDown GM Nick Aldis to announce a triple threat match for the title involving Bayley, Naomi, and Tiffany Stratton. This upcoming match marks the first major match for Tiffany. However, she had a major bout at Elimination Chamber in February, where she contended for the number one contender position.
