Recently, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray weighed in on Randy Orton’s skills compared to those of AEW star Kenny Omega. Randy Orton triumphantly returned to WWE following a year-long hiatus due to a back injury.
Orton returned at Survivor Series: War Games, kickstarting a series of notable challenges. He squared off against Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns in a high-stakes Fatal-Four-Way Match at the Royal Rumble. Additionally, Orton fiercely competed in the 2024 Men’s Elimination Chamber match in Perth, reaching the final two before Drew McIntyre, the eventual chamber winner, eliminated him.
During a recent discussion on Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray offered his perspective on Orton’s skills compared to those of AEW star Kenny Omega. While recognizing the athletic abilities of both men, Bully Ray highlighted Orton’s superiority as a “worker,” specifically in-ring psychology. He stated, “When it comes to being a worker, Randy Orton is considerably better than Kenny Omega. Now you gotta remember I said ‘worker.’ This is why I would’ve liked to see Kenny Omega come to the WWE one day, because can you imagine a guy with all the talent Kenny Omega has to come to the WWE and to learn real ring psychology from a Randy Orton.”
While Bully Ray expressed his desire to see Omega in WWE, it’s worth noting that last year, Omega and The Elite opted to re-sign with AEW. It will be intriguing to witness if Ray’s wish occurs when Omega and Orton face off in the ring.
