DC Universe is launching on Saturday, September 15. However, fans will have to wait until next year to catch Young Justice: Outsiders. But during the live-streamed episode of DC Daily, DC Universe dropped an advance Young Justice: Outsiders preview that offered up a glimpse of the new season.
In the clip, Nightwing infiltrates a metahuman smuggling ring run by Bedlam. Although the origins of Bedlam are still enigmatic, Nightwing gets an assist from Oracle a.k.a. Barbara Gordon. It’s unclear if Barbara retired from her role as Batgirl because of injury or if she is simply stepping into a new role for the third season.

Young Justice originally ran for two seasons on Cartoon Network before it was prematurely canceled in 2013. A passionate fanbase helped keep the series in the spotlight, and allowed creators Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti to reignite interest in the show. DC Universe responded to the ongoing demand for new episodes by renewing the series in 2016.
Nightwing will once again be at the forefront of the series, and he won’t be alone. Superboy, Aqualad, Tigress, Wonder Girl, Robin (Tim Drake), Blue Beetle, Impulse, Beast Boy, Arsenal, and Static will all be back. New additions to the team include Metamorpho, Katana, Spoiler, Arrowette and Thirteen.
